TwiLightâ›…

Her car broke down in the middle of a tarred land.
Cars blew their horn at her.
Too embarrassed,
When her lilac shoes hit the tarred grounds, it quaked.
Her legs, so silky and hairy
Her face made the horning mute.
Her hair bounced behind,
they were gathered in pony tail.

I wondered how her eyes looked, for they were hidden behind glasses .
Her clothes, in the shades of Amaranth.
Her radiant skin comes before twilight,
Her skin comes before the sun.
“Allow me, Miss! “.
Before her,and she behind me,i could smell her.
My nerves shock, it made her car start.
She smiled, all flat tyres shot up.
Her way of saying “thank you” made the decade wax in my ears melt suddenly.
“You can thank me properly on a date. I trust you’ll accept?”
She stretched her hand, but I hid mine in pocket.
Too afraid my callous palm will cut her,
Too afraid my furnace hand will burn her.

I waited on a bench before a round table in the outside nights.
“Here she comes”!
She swayed, like a withered leaf in the wind and her curves, more pronounced.
Sitting before me, she glowed and I wondered if the stars followed her out here.
All eyes were fixed on her.
When she smiled, her eyes widened than the owl’s.
Her eyes Grace’s among all.
Her eyes so transparent, I could see my shaggy hair, loopy face and crumple shirt.
I wondered why her keen eyes haven’t noticed,
I wondered why her calm fingers haven’t pointed them out.

I didn’t know her favourite.
yet, I trust she likes creamy ice.
Before the ice reached her lips,it melts.
When she closed her lips,it drew in the reddest volcano.
And I feared reaching her lips.
I wondered the kind of genes, those juicy lips evolved.

My jokes were awkward yet it cracked her up.
When her bangles clashed,it gave a rhythm and a soft melody better than harps.
We talked more and starred at each other..
“No! Did I say that?!”
We talked less and starred more at each other.

Night creeped into day.
The winds grew cold, clouds darkens and the skies cried.
I watched as the rain washed her makeup off.
My words stuck in throat,
I wondered why she ever put them on.
” You’re beautiful and it’s abnormal”.
I saith in thought but my words came out, her ears already heard.

Time wait for no man,
Time to let her go.
Water dropped from her hair, it touch the grounds, swept the clouds and pulled out the sun.
I embrace her.
I felt her warmth , and her breath made my heart flee from it cage.

Must have been love.
Much have been good.
But it all over now.

She turns away without looking back.
She started her wheels and it jerked.
I smiled broadly.
She drove off, not in dust
but in that soft glowing light from the skies, under the horizon.
I shouted, ” don’t forget what we built because I won’t forget either.
I won’t forget the rain,
I won’t forget your warmth and shine”.

But one thing I forgot to ask, her name.
So! I call her,
Twilight.

They say he's back in town
Still posing a flawless smile
His eyes arise like the sun
set in socket of rare charm
And his lips still inviting.

How right they are to adore you
They don't know what i know
I cherished your fearless loyalty
And placed you like a seal over my heart
But  then, my heart in your captive you tore into pieces
And now!, theres no more us.

Alone on the bench in a town square
curling a strand of hair with my cold finger
And memories of you passing through.
sure!, it felt nice when we held hands together
Humming our favourite melodies like bees on petals.

We once hugged freely
pleasing our bleeding pleasure
counting our memories of gladness great.
What we once had is no more true
I leave behind your toy soldiers
And the scarlet rose you planted in my hair
There they lie and wait on the lovers bench
I'm afraid i can't retrieve the last kiss you soiled on my lips in February.
The jealous rains had washed it off.

I wonder who would fall for your deceitful lips.
Heavens make me a rainbow
To forget how you signed me out with goodbye!
Nevertheless, i wish you happiness.

FIREFLIES

Like how we do it every night
How we cherish those insects
That lights all night long
Under the moonstar skies
Our feet surrounded with evergreen
And cold winds passing through.

Their seenly timeless shimmer
Hello the outside nights
And mute those noisy crickets
700-02698416
We clap them in our young palms
Given it air space.
They glow better than constellations
Better than our young bright eyes
They loll on our heads
And candle our shaggy hair

They are fireflies
They aren't furnace flies
I wonder how they do their magic
I wonder if the stars and moon sees
And yet, not jealous.

When they clap their keenly wings
Their corn shine, beckon our smile
Their pear charm, glows the evergreen
Their orange sheen, clad the Grebera Daisy.,

When the clouds cry
The rains knock their bare heads
And quench their glow
Their wings fall off
They tremble on the grounds
Like a withered rose
There they
lie,
Unable to
rise.

NOWHERE

757d7d512bffca31aa72fba4f72e39a5

Come again another day
Forget the meadow
they can't shove your legs
yet come with thy heart

If you come again
Bring the stars to guide us
Parade the Macaws
To hum a better melody

If another day
Forget he stars
Skip the Macaws

Remember!
We go nowhere if the ebony clouds gather
We go nowhere if the stars dim their shine

Hurry! Don't leave me sinking in the cold
Like a Shag on a rock
I can see the nude rains gnashing its teeth
Reedy mocking me

Those loathsome goose bumps wreathing my skin
I'm afraid i'll go numb

Hurry again! Hurry another day!
leave your folks behind
when they ask, "where to?''
Tell them, you're going
NOWHERE.

FLAMBOYANTS

new-home-gaeden-plant-royal-poinciana-delonix-regia-font-b-tree-b-font-seeds-flame-font

They were just seeds in the ground
Whether they fell in wild thorns or hard grounds
They grew tall and red
Their branches wide and cedar
Their leaves wreathe in emerald
Their oval heads spark open and gloss the ornate skies
Their petals sheath in brightness, awake in scarlet
And in nights storm, they bold their petals and inhale the cold
In cold winds, they breathe out their charms
In cold clouds, they quell the stars' shine

Their amber crowns tease the sun
And smell like butter, better in the scorch
Under their honey shades, their fragrance roots romance
And pour a taintless touch of love

When drought draws nigh and parch the grounds
Their leaves slack and whither brown
Their maypole anthers bit under the weather
Their clammy roots sturdy in sandy
And erode the mole hills

Their petals wrestle with the sun
And the surly thorns pinch their amber crowns
Whether the sun sucks their scarlet sheen
Or the wild thorns shove their heads
They were and are still,

CONSTELLATIONS 🌠🌠🌠🌠

con
 When they gather
 The skies allow them
The clouds make them rest on their heads
 They shoot out at once
 Pour their luminous shy
 Pour their luminous shine.
 🌠🌠🌠

Their soft rays spark the heavens
 Flick on great waters
 Chase the tides to hide
 And mute shades.
 The eyes that sees stars
Hands that reach them - burn
 Wings that fly across
 Flee helter skelter.
 🌠🌠🌠

When unveiled in night blue skies
They shine like maidens from North
 They sweep away the rains
Cover the skies like birds of paradise.
The moon too afraid to seize them
 Too afraid to near.
 🌠🌠🌠

When the million stars choose rain
Their breath , graces the wind
Their warmth melt the cold clouds
Their silver sweat expand the horizons
 Charm the hemisphere
 And candle the grounds.
 Yes! that kind.

Hug

Incase I don't search
Search for me
Incase I forget
Remind me
Incase I wake
See if I smiled
Incase I cant reach your lips.......
If you need a hug I'll ask ye if tall?
If you are
Hide me, hug me
And hide in me your hug.
